Hi

Just wanted you to know what the outcome of all that is going on.
I went to the pain clinic and indeed he injected the back of my head twice.
He feels the neck vertebrae are worse and it now involves the C2 plus the
C3..
I had it done and with in three days it is MUCH better.  NO more pounding
and really bad head pain.
He said it definitely is neuritis since the sed rate is still high yet.
And if this shots helped a little he would do it again.  But if not, then I
go into surgery type thing and they use fluoroscopy and locate the main
nerve to the head and either burn or completely block that.  THANK God this
seems to work.
I will certainly find out when we leave to go to Tenn Thurs.
PLUS the old bp is up again.  I have called the bp doc, 2 times now.  NO
response from her.  I think she is pissed (oppps sorry) she is mad at me
for asking her to lower or let me use the other medication.  HEY folks I
could not function then........and I do believe with the imuran that was a
problem.
I am NOT on imuran and rheumy will be seen tomorrow with blood test
results.
Joints do not like me now LOL.  big time
So waiting for the bp doc, trying to pack the motor home, and NO headpain
right now.  well ok, some but not bad bad bad.   Man that is awful and I
certainly feel for anyone with migraines or such.
Well that was me, now where is all the folks at.  NOT many posts here

Janners. Glad that the shots seem to helping this time and no side reactions
to it.  The other "surgery" solution is a tad frightening....but if that is
what it takes to eliminate the constant pain.

Hope the bp doc gets back to you soon!  especially if you are planning a
trip to TN.  Don't know why they get po'ed when our bodies are not acting
like they should and we know it!  After all who knows our bodies better than
we do?

Enjoy your trip to TN.  I wish I was packing (suitcase) and heading
someplace again.

Hugs,
Sherry

Hi Janers!

I'm so glad the shot worked & I hope you have a pain-free trip to TN.

Ditto on Sherry's thoughts.  It's a scarey op that I hope you won't ever
need, but it's fortunate that you have that option.

Wishing you safe travel & a wonderful time...

Hugs,
Maggie
