Pigmet wanted me to tell you he's going home Wednesday morning to Mair. I
told
him he could type but he says I'm faster. Together we processed over 300
digital photos of the wedding. Yes. We have pictures!!!!!!! (I just have to
figure out how to put them on our web pages so everyone can see them.)
The wedding was lovely. The weather was perfect. Warm but not hot, and the
humidity was low. And the bride was so beautiful. Yes, I know she's my
daughter and every mother has the most beautiful baby in the whole world.
But really she could have been the Estee Lauder bride. (Pigmet says to tell
you she's very beautiful on the inside and that's what makes her so pretty
on the outside. Personally, I think she just looks like my very handsome
husband!)
It was a full mass. Surprisingly I remembered most of what I was supposed to
remember about mass. LOL I doubt it lasted more than 35 minutes as only few
people took communion and that seems to extend the time. Fr. Brian blessed
the family after Larissa and Richard gave their girls rings. It was really
quite lovely. One of the bridesmaids, Katy, was not Catholic but the matron
of honor made her go up during communion and get blessed. Poor Katy,
childhood friend and bridesmaid, she had no idea what was going on most of
the time.
Then afterwards in the church the photographer took some pictures. Just
spent a few minutes - nothing very long. Then we went to the Pavilion for
the reception. It was lovely. The photographer took photos outside. They
should be good pictures. Naturally I took that occasion to sneak in some
photos too.
The food was good, the cake(s) were lovely, there was a DJ and my only
complaint was there was almost no slow music for the "old" folks to dance.
(That's my daughter's fault as she picked out all the music ahead of time.)
The reception ended about 10 PM and then everyone was going to the Omni
Hotel for more fun. Except we chose to go home and not continue to party.
Sorry, too old, too sick for that much partying. (Pigmet was most
disappointed as he wanted to party some more - but he did fall asleep on the
way home. LOL)
I think he liked the ferry ride the best. It is a lovely way to get to
Williamsburg from my house. Sure beats driving on the interstate . It takes
about 15 minutes on the ferry to cross the James River.
I have web space with my internet provider and if they fix the problem on
their end maybe I can get the pictures up there. When I do get the photos up
there - well, you'll just have to go through them and find the ones you want
to see. I don't like the space as it is open to anyone so I will not put
"names" or who up there. Also since the other people from the wedding will
be looking it will include guests etc. So I will try to email all of you
with enough information so that you know which kids are my grandchildren,
etc.
I've got to go to work now. Pigmet is going to keep the bride's doggies
company - long story but my youngest has wound up keeping 2 of the dogs
while they are here. Both Pomeranians, one is real tiny and the other is
almost the size of a Spitz. And since everybody works/has school today
Pigmet gets to dog-sit. Good thing they are little dogs and very friendly.
Pigmet has 2 lunchboxes to take with him, lunch and snacks. So he's very
excited about his job this morning. Pigmet loves both dogs and they have
become the best of friends. Pigmet is trying to figure out how he can go to
SC and visit them when they go home.
Oh, my, I must leave now.

Thank you for the mail. Your baby girl looked so beautiful in her gown. A
vogue front page for sure.
