Is is just for the weddin?  Can I stay for the party, too?  do I have to
wear pants?  Do I have to wear a tie?  These things are very important, you
know....

Yes, AntiRhonda!

The plane is all ready and I have taken a bit of a flight in it already.  I
like to go and help people to plant their vegetables.  But I cannot take a
nationwide tour like I did before, it was just too hard on me, and Mair too.

Thanks for asking, and my love to you my AntiRhonda!

well its too bad you can not take a nation tour this summer. My vegetable
garden is really growing and I added a herb garden and it too is growing
great. Maybe next summer you can take a tour again.
With lots of Love,

Ok, let's start at the beginning. Yes, the wedding and then the party,
called a reception. It's very formal but it will also be very hot! Virginia
tends to be very hot this time of year. So I think it will be best if you
just wear a black bowtie. If you don't have one there is one here you may
borrow. I think the last picture of you I saw you had on a very handsome
black bowtie. You may wear that one. If you wore a full suit you'd pass out
from the heat. Everything is air conditioned but still it will be hot
outside. Also my daughter says that is more important for her guests to be
comfortable and enjoy themselves then to be worried about what they are
going to wear.

I think the wedding will be a full Catholic mass. (I have no clue how I
managed to raise at least one of my children to be Catholic like their
father. I guess when they were little I still believed or was afraid not to
believe. LOL ) After my daughter and her betrothed say their vows and
exchange rings they are planning to say vows to their children. Each has a
daughter and they have rings for the girls, too! (They took the idea from
Janers daughter's wedding.) But don't say anything as it will be a surprise
to the girls.

Anyway, after the wedding we will leave the church and go to the Pavilion
for the reception. There will be lots of fun things to do at the reception.
First there is lots of food. Then there will be cake. Three very pretty
cakes on fancy stands. Then lots of music and dancing until we are all too
tired to keep going. (Ask Mair if you are allowed to drink or if you can
have a taste.)

I've made up your bed. I've gotten in an extra stash of potatoes and some
other goodies for you. You need to be here no later than noon on Friday
because there is a big dinner Friday night called the rehearsal dinner but
you may come anytime before that.

DD will be so excited to see you!!! And I can't wait to see you again, too!
Fly safe!!!

Pick me up on the way, 'Met!!  I'll meet you in the alley.  You don't
even have to stop....I'll be watching for you from the Catalpa tree &
jump into the plane!

Sounds lovely, Bev. Where's your MOB dress pic, btw?  Did I miss it?

Same question from me Bev!!
Where is your MOB dress??!
You promised!
......... Shelagh
btw, Congratulations to your daughter and her fiance! The last
full Catholic mass/wedding I went to was my own <g>.... my fiance
acquiesced to my parents wishes (I really didn't want any fuss
but I was their first daughter of 7 to wed so I had no choice but
the big fat Catholic wedding, which btw was beautiful! I really
do think you all will love the traditional part of it all anyhow!

You guys are going to have to wait until the wedding I guess for pictures of
me in the dress. I'm sure I'll have lots of pictures including those of my
beautiful granddaughters and the new one I will have as a result of this
wedding. (SIL-to-be has a 13 year old daughter.)

O-taaaay, I unnerstaaaand. <sniff>

Ahhh, but it'll be worth the wait to get to see the other pics.  : )
Good luck with the shoes.  I haven't a clue, except you may wanna check
Wal-Mart for a reasonably priced shoe stretcher.  They make a spray to
help them stretch easier, but I'm thinkin' that's a no-no with them
being dyed. ???

Hugs,
Maggie
