I was diagnosed with lupus SLE in late 2000 with osteoarthritis,
temperomandibular jaw disorder, migraines, food allergies, environmental
allergies, weak thumb/wrist joints and fibromyalgia. I recently went from
170 lbs to 120 lbs between Christmas time 2003 and February 2004 and seem
to have settled at 120 lbs for the long term. I am glad to be here to give
and receive support.

Hi Pegasus!
Welcome to our list! You'll find lots of support here.
I have had SLE, Sjogren's and Hashimoto's for most of my life, undiagnosed
until I was 32. I could not use my thumbs for 10 years, and then suddenly
they were back in action. Weird. I suffer from a lot of environmental
triggers--not exactly allergies, but things that flare my autoimmune
problems. Cleaning products are a nightmare, perfumes and lotions even in
cosmetics. Fumes you might run into, such as gasoline or epoxy..... on and
on. Losing hair, but not weight, though. Dang! I do wish it were the other
way around.
Find comfort in our group,
