I lived half way between Shawnee and Midwest City, in a small town of
Newalla.
I am also part Choctaw, and Miami Indian, Love county was named after the
Miami <Love> surname.
lol, inspite of the Indian heritage, I take more of the Irish that
immigrated to Oklahoma, red hair, freckles.
J, you have such a steel trap for a memory <wink>

I tell you true, the sun in Oklahoma is relentless, I did not find the state
user friendly at all, but met many wonderful people.
Newalla is just outside of Oklahoma City.
I have a daughter that lives in Norman.

Don't forget Wendy and Rhonda ;)
Yes the sun is not so friendly here, but the WIND....
It blows all the time except the dog days of summer...And then sometimes it
feels like a giant blow dryer...
