Further on this.... the only month I haven't yet seen snow in Calgary is July.
But there's time -- I've only lived here since 1997....

Morning all:)))
J , no I did not get any bad weather other than little rain and coolness.
It has been way to cool for the fishies to be active , me included.
O , BJ , I do feel sorry for you. A frozen meatless prairie chick is not a
nice pic.:)))
Grace , routing for you to get your wish for July to complete the circle.
NOT:)))
The only thing hot in my neck of the woods is realstate. They are buying and
out bidding for anything with a roof. Everyone from the big smoke an hour
and half south of me , aka hogtown , Toronto , are migrating with the
widening hwy. to six lanes and a go train for workers. We have had three
offers for the apt. building this week. Only one has something better than
money and that is lake property with year round cottage added to the deal.
It has a view to die for, 25 miles. this offer is very good , but can they
get the bank to ok things.
Stay tuned , it is like a soap on tv.:)))

Hi Bruce,
This prairie chick had ruffled feathers yesterday. The wind was aweful
again. I hate it. You could not pay me to move to hogtown though. No wonder
people want out of there. Are you near Barrie? It is beautiful up there. A
prairie chick could learn to love that.

It is the same here in real estate Bruce... it is definitely a
seller's market! The condos can't go up fast enough for the
buyers! They are all sold even before construction starts here on
the island!
oh and housing?! we even had a realtor 'drop by' (uninvited btw)
with people wanting to look at our 'newly rennovated log house'
and I said (very rudely) 'excuse me??!'.... and he said 'oh, this
must be the wrong address!' and backed away, while the people
said 'oh no, too bad, it is such a lovely house!'....
unbelievable the nerve of some! We could get a fortune for this
place now that we've done all the bullwork
but we have NO intention of moving now that we have found our
piece of paradise.
Do you have your place on the market? Where are you planning to
go and what to do? The lake and cottage sure sound inviting...
keep us all updated?
hugs.......Shelagh

Sorry Bruce I'm probably the one who gave Marcia the cold. Better run your
computer anti-virus software to get rid of those cyber germs.
