Hello, Everyone! I finally saw my rheumie again today, and I got him to prescribe me one-milligram tablets so that I can decrease from 10mg by one-milligram increments. Yay! I start tomorrow at 9mg... I will let you know how I do. Today was the first day that I had someone to drive me to The City. The County has a program to help people with this, and so a nice man drove me down to my appointment. We got along well and had a great time, regardless of the fact that it was 95 degrees even in San Francisco! It really was a huge help to me, as I was not exhausted, and I remembered all the things I needed to ask my doc! Continuing updates as they occur! mair So glad to hear this, Mair! I take three other small, white, round pills too, so I have to be super careful that they are all what I mean them to be! If I mixed up a prednisone pill with a thyroid pill, that would be awful! I am going to take my reductions one per month. Nothing to lose. I am feeling poorly now, but that could be from the flu or from lupus, I cannot tell. [how could you ever tell when the symptoms are fatigue, fuzzy head, sweats, aches and low-grade fever?] Oh well, that's where I am at.
