I talked to Michael this morning.  He is in the hospital.  He is having a
flare, so let's send our well-wishes out that his flare is a short one.

Everyone stay healthy!

Prayers are sent,  Help Michael through this.

do you have any idea what is going on, besides an admission to the
hospital?

thanks

Not really that much to know... his breathing is bad, meaning his blood
oxygen saturation is down.  Some extra "TLC" in the hospital will help, and
hopefully he will be home soon.

I'm out as of today (Monday) and, of course am reaLLY exhausted. I'll try
and give more pf an update tomorrow if I can find the energy. I have to do a
few things and might have to take things pretty slow. I've been in bed in
ICU for a week.

If Candi Bowen is out there, I'd like to hear from you about some of this. I
have some questions about this lung thing and I know she went through almost
the same, identical thing herself.

roeper@comcast.net

Worst lung flare yet and am not snapping back very fast this time at all. Am
on 3x the oxygen today at home that I was a week ago and they're running out
of home equipment that can deliver enough 02 to meet my needs so I can stay
at home.

Otherwise, things are peachy!

Sure was glad to see the dog and my house. Now I have to hire a housekeeper
and a yardman. Can't keep it up myself anymore I'm afraid.

I'll have to tell you about my brand new 1972 VW bus. What a riot!!

Thanks Mair for keping you all informed. She's a trooper about such things
and I'd be glad to have her in my lifeboat anytime.

THANKS MAIR!!!

Michael

So glad you're home, Michael.  I know you missed Mugsy....I couldn't
imagine it.  Take it easy & get better soon.  Many prayers are being
said for you.  And I totally agree; Mair's a great one to have in one's
boat of life....or sumthin' like that. : )
BJ - 27 Apr 2004 21:41 GMT
I certainly agree with you Maggie. On all counts.

Awww J.  Thank you so much!  I am actually doing really well.  Maaaaaybe
too well......ahem.....<shh>heartwise.</shh>  I've had someone to keep
da Mags very busy over the past 3 weeks.  I come in & read what I can &
keep you all in my heart & prayers.  I'm trying to focus on balance, but
haven't done such a swell job of it.  Hoping I didn't miss Wes'
cardiology update, Bev's MOTB dress pic & any news from Grace.  And did
you get your other guided shot for your shoulder yet?  I meant to pop in
& surprise BJ on Saturday with a BIG Birthday hug....ahh, well, at least
I can't forget *your* birthday, now can I?  LOL!

ahem...ahem....I am thrilled for you.
You deserve the best.  Yes, keep balance.  Yes, don't change you and your
likes to fit someone else.
I'll understand if you're here less  (I think I essentially left newsgroups
for over a year for similar reason - too busy, nudge, nudge, wink, wink), but
do keep in touch. I'm a worrier, you know..
Hugs Maggie,
J

If we're gonna BE in a lifeboat ANYWAYS, can I be the lifeguard?  Then I
could have one a those cool RINGS to put around me, an if any of ya fell
overboard, why then I could yell "Man overboard!" and go in and save your
life.  And that would make me very happy.

from your devoted Nephew
and lifeguard,

Michael, so glad to see that you are home, even with so much O2.
We'll look for the gory details when you are feeling up to it.  Until
then, we're thinking of you.
