Everybody cross your fingers for my granddaughter. Her science fair project
goes to City tomorrow morning. Is it that good? Apparently it is. It's on
airplanes without the theory of aerodynamics.  In fact she broke all the
rules of aerodynamics. She just created airplanes with tubes instead of
wings. I'm still finding pieces of drinking straws all over my house. These
things fly like greased lightning. Every rule says they shouldn't fly at
all! Oh, well just her creative mind at work.

To borrow a phrase from Toy Story: "To infinity and beyond!!"

Brag, brag, brag. I know, I'm just so proud of her. I really hope she wins
at City. I think she then would go to Regional before State. If you only
know how many science fairs my kids did and what we went through over each
one. One year we had over 40 "fish tanks" in my dining room while my
teenager was experimenting with the effects of chemical leaching of
ship/boat paint on fish. UGH!!! And here comes this little kid with this
simple idea using plastic drinking straws and she wins for her school.

BTW, her teacher who absolutely hates her gave her a lousy grade and then
had to give her the 100 when she won for the school. I think it is funny and
I'd love to see my GD win at city just to rub the teacher's nose in it a
little further. And of course I'd love to see my granddaughter win it just
because she's worked so hard on it and it would be such a boost to her ego.
She really has a hard time in school partially because she marches to a
different drummer and I guess she has a really creative mind and that
doesn't fit into normal academic school. On the bright side, she is
well-liked among her peers.

My fingers and toes are crossed lol!
You must be so proud of her.... I love those kids who have their
own drums going on in their heads.... so much more interesting
and so much creativity oozing from them! My son was and still is
very much that way and he too is doing great in spite of it?
or as I believe: because of it!
hugs from Shelagh

:(((  So sorry, Bev.
Oh well, next time.
Hopefully you and she had fun in the planning, design and she can still
have fun with it at home.
Hugs to you and "D".

I just saw the post Bev.  I wished her well only to find she did not rank.
BUT give the girl a hug for me.  She is very intelligent even to think of
that project.

How you doing with the acupuncture?  Better yet?  I wish you well.   I sure
think you might have hit on a winner there.....good for you.

NOW help me with this smell and taste stuff LOL

hugs
