"LymphoStat-B has received a Fast Track Product designation from the
U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of systemic
lupus erythematosus. For a new drug to be designated a Fast Track
Product, the condition it is designed to treat must be serious or
life-threatening, and must represent an unmet medical need."

It is in Phase II clinical trial at NIH for SLE and rheumatoid arthritis.

There is  hope there...
Wonder how much it will cost and if it will be less expensive than Remacade.
Very interesting

AS LymphoStat B is a "biological" medication, the cost is probably high,
perhaps as much as Remicade or even more.

However, I think that people enrolled in NIH clinical trials may have
their drugs paid for by the NIH.. I don't know that for a fact though.
