Morning J :)))

I must say  , you have been busy this morn helping others as usual!
Is this dampness making joints keep you awake as it is me?
The first thunderstorm is underway as I speak . Ok I love it , fresh smell
of spring and ma robins , beaks full of  nest building thingy's  and the
lawn I seeded yesterday with white clover is off to a good start.

Oh Bruce you guys getting hit with T storms this morning? We are forecast to
get them this afternoon, but some of ours can get ugly. Usually it gets
bumpy around here in late April and May...but they can get ugly anytime of
the year. I too have seen mama robins gathering for make nests. I was
thinking maybe I should throw out some string or yarn to see if that will
help the robins make their nests. I have a big Oak tree in my front yard and
last year one of the storms blew out a robins egg and it broke on our ground
below the tree. I always feel so sad when this happens, but that's nature.
You take care and try not to ache too much....

Sounds great Bruce :)))
I'm late and the grass is growing.
No rain yet but flickering this morning so they are nearby.
I should be out mowing but I forgot to get gas for mower yesterday.
I love white clover, reminds me of home. :)))

It is sprinkling here on me in Northern California.
Bruce, I found it fascinating your description of the weather where you
live.  We do not have weather in California.  We have sun, and we have rain.
The robins come *here* for the winter, and they leave and go to you in the
spring.  they do make the kookiest noises.  I guess if the lakes are thawed
there, then spring is really here, ey?

Hi Mair, You're right about the birds. Something was sqwaking really noisy in a
tree this morning at 4 a.m.
I'm sure it was a bird.

Looks like Spring. I had to go get gas for the mower <smile>
Grass is growing, worms and birds are out.

Very sorry to hear that Bruce, my bad day was if i recall last Tuesday.
I could barely walk or straighten up (or sit long enough to post)
It was "grit the teeth" until bath time and blessed relief.
Also have a new knee problem which just aches at night and when I try to shift
right leg outright pain.
Nothing seen on x-ray.

I looked around on my way to the gas station and there's no white clover out
here at all, nor pink.
What is it with S. Ont?
We used to eat that and sweet grass..yummy

Hello out there.

You guys had to mention aching before rain...and oh boy did I ..I hurt most
of the afternoon.it has looked if it was about to storm all day but nothing
is falling out of the sky not one drop of water. I did however feel as if I
needed another 100lbs to hold me down we are having high winds. My poor
flowers and plants that are in my pots are getting knocked around. Boy J you
sure are a busy bee today I wasn't sure what to tell Jeff I did not want him
to think know one was here and leave. I hope you didn't mind me dropping
your name. You have helped so many on here by connecting them to the right
place for good information.

Name drop away !  That was good of you to answer Jeff, Rhonda, thanks very much.
I know it's usually quiet on weekends, so everyone who can reply, helps.
I'll have to check the map later to see where you are.
If you're going to blow those winds my way, I'll have to "batten down the
hatches" and get ready for pain.
Apparently cooler weather is coming our way mid-week. :(

I'm sorry about your aching. I saw on the fibro newsgroup, they were talking
about pain and headaches when the barometric pressure suddenly drops, so no
doubt weather affets (many) of us.

Hugs, gotta shut down now.

Sounds almost funny to hear someone seed with clover. No one seeds clover
around here - that's probably because by the middle of June it is fried in
the heat. And naturally so many people today want their lawns to be free of
broadleaf plants, such a shame as clover is so good for the dirt. 100 years
ago the best grass seed mixes had at least 20% clover mixed in as a natural
fertilizer, today clover is considered a weed.

Being we are a little further south of you, our dove who has returned now
for several years to make a nest on the porch at my neighbors house just
gave flying lessons to her first born of the season last week.

Spring is always so full of freshness, renewal, and hope.

I have purple clover all over the back yard.  It's like a huge patch
mixed in with little white & purple wild flowers.  It's gorgeous!  I
look up & see my neighbor's manicured lawn & wonder how long it's been
since she saw such a pretty little flower, without buying, planting &
nurturing it herself?

Hugs, J...always able to count on you to be here & helping others.

Maggie
