Hi Everyone,
I saw my doctor today. We had a long discussion about my last blood test.
You may recall that the wbc/rbc was normal for the first time in years. This
begged the question, "Should I go off the Imuran?" The doctor's view is
this. Stay on the Imuran until I get three good blood tests in a row. At
that time, I could reduce the Imuran by 50mgs. Then we would monitor for
another three months. Reduce again, if the results are good. He is concerned
about allowing me to go off the drug. He thinks it might be the reason
things are so good right now. He wonders if it might mess things up if I
ditch it. I told him I would take it under advisement. <g> I am due for
another blood test next week. Let's all keep our fingers crossed. Thanks to
everyone who replied to my oringinal post on this subject.

That's great news, BJ!  I had read your post when I was catching up &
this sounds like an excellent plan.  Your doctor sounds like a careful
doc & that's very good to know.  I hope your blood tests continue to
show a remission & you can soon be drug-free.  <fingers crossed>

This looks like I posted it on my server.  That's weird.  I replied to
BJ's post & mine came in above hers.  Hmmm?
