Of note:

I had an immediate severe rash/itching reaction to the new
easy-to-swallow red Tylenol...

It might be the dye in the coating.
I haven't seen the new Tylenol yet

I've had trouble with dyes in meds most of my life.
I wonder why they do that. <rhetorical>
However, I'm currently taking a Vitamin coated with red and no problem.
There's different "reds" (according to this).

Today I had to drink a fizzy drink that had Red FD&C  and yellow FD&C
but I can't remember the numbers.
Whatever ...it burned my tongue. Yuck ! didn't taste good at all.

I'm beginning to think my sensitivities/allergies are more pronounced
post-stem cell transplant....

Perhaps your body has to get used to *everything* all over again? I
can't recommend eating earthworms, though :)

hmmm...maybe

I hope they're not getting rid of the caplets, those are easier to swallow
and they weren't red last time I bought some.

That's interesting!  In my limited understanding of the immune system,
from nursing school nearly 20 years ago, I would think the opposite
would be true.  I was looking at my most recent CBC results and saw
that I had 0 eosinophils (usually an indication of allergies).  I was
thinking it was from Imuran.

Do you take any "maintenance meds" for the stem cell transplant, or is
that it?  I know you said at one time that your lupus was really
quiet.

Well, I guess my immune system is back to babyhood in a way; also, the inside of my mouth, etc., was
pretty damaged; the doctor said it should normalize after six months....

I take prophylactic antibiotics/antivirals for six months (1.5 months more). Other than that; I only
take synthroid.

Grace.
