I have seen many cases of acquired liver porphyria where the urine pretty
much looks normal but this urine was grossly dark amber brown colored and
negative for blood on dipstick.
The diagnosis was porphyria and didn't have any time to get details on the
patient.
The description says "port wine " color, whatever that means.
This thing didn't look like any wine I ever drank. It looked like a dirty
old bloody brown urine.
