I have taken both the MT exam and the SI exam, though not as a foreign
student.  I feel the steps involved to become eligible to take the exam are
well worth the effort.  It is my opinion certification is important and
necessary to the quality of what we do in the laboratory.  I applaud your
desire to pursue certification.
