Hello all:
Does your lab provide lab results on the web for your physicians?
We have a beta product, soon to be released, which provides lab results over
the web.
We take HL7 results from the lab and tranmit to the web server. The lab
results on the web
can be displayed as cumulative or with a graph and also printed to a local
printer.
If you are interested, send me an email.
Thanks

How secure is this when compared to a dedicated data transmission?

It is very secured. Uses 128 bit encryption with HTTPS protocol, HIPAA
compliant and has audit trail.
Let me know if you need more information.
