Hi all!  I've been asked by my lab to write up a policy and procedure on
TDG - and it looks like we are going the route of Saf-T-Pak.  While I can do
the procedure pretty much from the company info, I was just wondering what
other labs were using out there.  Any one else use this company?  Any tips
or advice are welcome as well :)  Thanks in advance... Sandra

We used the Saf-T-Pak training CD to document our training of staff. We
also got copies of IATA, US Postal Service and the CFR regulations that
cover all aspects of transportation of dangerous goods. We found that
the Saf-T-Pak mailers were very expensive and Fisher had some that were
a lot cheaper. For things we send by FedEx, we use approved mailers with
the FedEx bags and forms. For other transport we use a private messenger
service and they provide the trained personnel and transport containers.

Our procedures are written referring to all the various regs and include
postal mail, FedEX, courier, and our own transport drivers.
