The role of labile iron pool in cardiovascular diseases.
Kruszewski M.

Chemistry and Technology, Warszawa, Poland.
Although multiple factors are associated with cardiovascular pathology, there
is now an impressive body of evidence that free radicals and nonradical
oxidants might cause a number of cardiovascular dysfunctions. Both direct
damage to cellular components and/or oxidation of extracellular biomolecules,
e.g. LDL, might be involved in the aetiology of cardiovascular diseases. The
key molecules in this process seem to be iron and copper ions that catalyse
formation of the highly reactive hydroxyl radical. Chelation of iron ions has a
beneficial effect on the processes associated with the development of
atherosclerosis and formation of post-ischemic lesions. These findings are
indirectly supported by the increasing body of evidence that stored body iron
plays a crucial role in pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and
ischemia/reperfusion injury.

Now, please tell us when that Nobel Prize was awarded and whether it bears
your name, tommy, or that of Darrell Taylor.

I'm certain that a google search would turn him up at numerous newsgroups,
spreading his little missive of homophobia, hemophobia, and "Hebrewphobia"
along with much misinformation and megabytes of obsessive-compulsive
punctuation, mis-spellings, and the random attempt to conn money out of
anyone foolish enough to believe that he is sane.
I don't miss his presence at all. If he is someone who thrives on
rejection, the internet must be heaven for him.

Don, since this appears to be an obsessive concern, I will suggest that you
contact one of Usenet's foremost authorities on such obsessions.
Please contact, Doe@aol.com, tommy hennessey of Alberta, Canada. Mr.
Hennessey is committed to warning the world of the evils of the element,
iron, and it's potential to harm or kill every living organism. Further,
since Mr. Hennessey claims to have direct connection with high authorities
with broad powers and knowledge bases; he can likely provide you with a
continuing source of extracts and precis that may just happen to intersect
your areas of concern. After all, needles are made of iron.
Pay particular attention to tommy's thesis and see if you can get him to
explain to you the marvelous manner in which he came to find answers in
Hebrew and Aramaic, languages he can not read, speak, or write.
I wish you a long and interesting acquaintance with tommy. However, he is
sometimes hard to contact and we all suspect that he is engaged in secret
personal research involving psychoactive medications and EST. Good luck on
your research.

Still afraid to spell the words, tommy? What are you afraid of, divine
retribution, or losing yet another ISP? Perhaps it is just that your
remedial English and spelling classes didn't cover those words?
You sit in Canada, in you're dim little room, making veiled threats of
physical harm to anyone who disagrees with you, yet you are afraid to
spelll f.ck? The internet must be a godsend for you, keeping you from
losing a thousand or so physical confrontations a year. It may have even
saved your teeth? Or did they pull them all before your first round of EST?
