Hey,
Im new here. Im a 14 year old guy from Canada interested in
medicine. I am thinking about going into the Aventis Biotech Challegne and I
have a few ideas. One idea is The effect of immunomodulators (various kinds
of various concentrations) on dendritic cell vaccines in melenoma cultures
and a rat melenoma model. I was wondering if this would be easy to do, if i
would yield good results, and if I could do it in 6 months with the lab and
doctor I'm provided with? Also my other dendritic cell vaccine idea was
preventive cell vaccines for high risk individuals. Thanks for the feed back

not a new idea, the community has been working on this (dendritic cell
vaccines) since about the mid 1990s and melanoma vaccines in particular have
been and are heavy researched (particular in the past in Germany and the
US).  Although I have not seen any on non-cutaneous melanoma.  Not to rain
on your parade, but your post is probably above this NG level.
