Hello all,
We having problem with a  Bayer RA 1000 that we have in a lab in Mexico. It is giving us a reagent tray error and it looks as the wheel can't find home  and continues turning. We have replaced the following components with no results (a) sensor, (b) reagent tray assembly, (c) PCB for the reagent tray assembly and (c) cable from the PCB to reagent tray assembly. We replaced those components in that order and we can't get rid of the problem. We tried using the exercise disk, but it doesn't fix the problem. We would appreciate any pointers.

Thank you

Sorry, this won't help, but since you mentioned Bayer, I must relay this story from Monday of this week.
Called to get help with Clinitek 500.  Answering system:  "Say or press "one" for English, say or press "three" for Spanish.  In the interim I am saying: "one", "onE", "oNE!"and ONE! ...ok I will press one.  pause....and a Spanish speaking voice comes on the phone
O.K. second try:  This time I make it past the first defense line and I am now on hold!! , Hold, etc. 5 minutes, after which I am disconnected.
Ahhaaaaaaa
Third time worked just fine and the service was great.
Not funning then, as I am not a good example of emotional control, particular on a bad day.  But in retrospect.....eha...
