All I meant is that for the past few months the pimple like outbreaks were
on the inner thighs, then I had an outbreak where it was raised skin and
tiny sores at the head of the penis and then in the most recent outbreak it
was a series of cuts near each other on the inner groin area and not in any
of the other places. Why does it move around so much? Years ago I had it
right above the crevasse of the butt, and that lasted for years before
moving to the inner thighs. The weird thing is that everytime it moves the
kind of outbreak is a little different. Sometimes its pimples, sometimes
cuts, sometimes raised skin, sometimes open sores, even a patch of dry sore
red skin once.

Tom,
The virus will take the path of least resistance to the skin surface. It's
rather lazy. :) As to WHY...well, I don't think anyone knows. But that's just
the way the virus is. And the appearance can and will change whenever it wants.
Just another quirk to contend with.

I honestly can't tell you why the virus can decide to change the nerve
pathway it chooses to travel. The only thing that I can tell you is that if
you have genital herpes it's possible for a herpes outbreak to pop up in
different areas below the belt line or in the boxers shorts area.
Maybe this would be a great question to ask Terri Warren over on WebMD.. or
H. Hunter Handsfield over in the STD section of MedHelp.org.. If you do
decide to ask them about it will you please come back and let us all know
what they said?

The only other thing that I can think of Tom is would it be possible it was
something other than herpes?
Hang in there,
Angela ;-)
