I got herpes, and the doctors don't care if I spread it to the whole world!

So does my grandma, my best friend, my girlfriend, my ex-grilfriend. Each
one of us has a different version. Mine is the "standard" one: "water"-tip
dots on the penis (treat them with Betrion or Belogent (local names of
creams in Croatia) and they're gone), while my grandma (says :)) gets scurfs
in the genital area when in deep stress (she uses (traditionally used for
mouth-herpes in Croatia) Virloex cream. My best friend has strange red dots
big as half-a-figernail, and he's got totally different problems, my guess,
it's not even herpes. I gave him Bepanthen cream (traditionally used on
scars and tattoos) for care, after the doctors deserted him in his quest for
health.
Now, my new girlfirend most probably didn't get herpes from me, but, now,
(as we, for the moment, don't have sex), I got strange little WHITE dots on
my tongue, looking more like aphta, or condilloma, but after I started
putting toothpaste on them (my grandma's advice) they dissapeared, and
afterwards my girlfriend got a real herpes-like dot (water and everthing) on
the inside of her mouth, just under her lip. A few days later I got
something similar under my tongue, again, but it's white and bigger than
before. She went to the doctor and made a papa-test, but, guess what? The
results will be available IN A MONTH!!! The doctors in this country are not
really concerned with herpes, they usually act like: "Well, it's uncurable,
and it's your fault you got it, so, live with the pain and discomfort.". I
also got very different opinions on whether it is a sexual desease or not,
and whether it is an infectious desease at all! Some say it is a
stress-related desease which (depending on the patients immune-system) gets
out or not, but that we probably ALL have it, and that research have shown
that it MUST in some (unknown) way do something good for the organism, since
it wouldn't survive that long otherwise (I read that in the interview with
the world's most prestigious herpes-expert, which is, in fact, ironically
Croatian, and lives in Australia).

All I want to know is: what should I do to stop infecting girls, since I
will probably have sex again :), and is there a way for me and my girlfriend
to have a normal sexual life after what happened....

Since I CAN'T get proper doctor's help, this is the only way for me to
gather info's, not just for me, for a lot of people in Croatia, so thanks in
advance......

You need to read the Updated Herpes Handbook over on www.westoverheights.com
for accurate information on herpes simplex virus.  There is also a video if
you would prefer not to read.
