I am having an outbreak like a rash on my one arm. Could this be a herpes
outbreak? If so, it is transferrable if someone touches it?

Pretty sure you can, as I have this also from time to time.  Especially
when I'm out in the sun for extended periods of time without sunscreen.
Could also be self-inoculation.  Usually I don't get blisters, though.
Just red itchy/patchy skin or acne-looking things.

This is what I have-it looks like acne. Is this contageous if I hug someone
or have other contact with my arm?

You can not diagnosed yourself over the internet based on somebody else's
opinion. You must see a doctor and seek proper testing of the rash to find
out what you have. It might not even be herpes.

Just because some people get this from time to time doesn't mean what he has
is herpes. The only way he is going to know what is going on with his rash
is to have a doctor take a look and run some tests.

This might be in your case but it's not necessarily going to be the same
thing for him. He doesn't actually know what his rash is because he has not
had the rash tested by a doctor.

Autoinoculation is not likely to occur once antibodies have developed ~ for
that actually have herpes simplex virus in their body.

You won't know unless you get in to see the doc and have them test the rash.

The rash could be anything at this point.

Keep us posted,

Angela :)

Angela, I do have genital herpes, but I thought that the rash only happened
in the genital area. I am taking HERP-EEZE for the symptoms of a recent
outbreak. I thought that it could be an allergic reaction to the medicine, I
just don't want to pass along herpes by someone touching my arm.

First of all.. you don't know for sure what the rash is on your arm unless
you get in to see the doc and have he/she run tests.

Second of all.. HERP-EEZE is not a proven herpes antiviral medication.

Go see your doc!
