Hello

Yesterday discovered what appear to be anal warts, although cannot book an
appointment with doctor until tomorrow.

I'm not so concered about anal warts but about being tested for HIV.

My sexual history is as follows:

Last sexual contact, 2 months ago.
Recieved Anal penetration once [protected with condom]
Given Anal penetration 6 times, 3 partners, always with a condom.
Total amount of sexual parnters, 9 (oral sex mostly).

I understand that having a HIV test will be optional, but I'm very
frightened.
Before I discovered the warts, I'd always considered myself not worthy of a
HIV test, but now I feel that if I've got warts, then what else have I got?

Anybody have any advice?

Is it generally routine to have HIV test following an STD or does it depend
on circumstances?

thanks, I live in the United kingdom.

Geraint.

I believe it's important to know your status... especially your HIV status.

Hang in there and keep us posted,

Angela :)
