Hi,

This group is great! I plan on visiting the doctor this week for a checkup.
Meantime, I'm very worried that I may have had a primary outbreak of HSV-2.
On the inside of my right thigh I initially had a long fissure (8 cm); now
on my left side, about two weeks after the first fissure, the same thing has
happened, though it is much shorter (4 cm). The only thing that gives me a
glimmer of hope that it may be something else is that both fissures are
perfectly bisymmetrical--a sign of certain forms of dermatitis. But there is
basically no itching at all and I have been wearing comfortable clothing the
past few weeks. Has anyone had similar symptoms?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Akaman,

I just wanted to let you know that I have no idea what you have.  :)  Hopefully,
the doctor will give you some answers.  Please share them with us.

Thanks!
