After reading a little about acne, I have to reconsider a possibility,
such as acne being part of a herpes outbreak.
Those blisters and all that, are the way skin is reacting during the
inflammation and other localized imbalances (hormonal etc).
Please don't missunderstand this. All I am saying is that
acne is a contributor to a herpes outbreak, perhaps
there would not even be a fully developed herpes outbreak
without the acne factor being involved there during that time.

Sorry, Perlie, but I bet even the newbies here know that herpes and
acne are caused by different, unrelated things.

This is something else that recently happened when I had the big one. I
developed much more acne then usual and some of it actually in the shape of
an "S" right on the side of my face of all places! Now it makes sense I
suppose.

Perl,
I have no idea what you are saying here.
Acne is caused by a lot of different things. How do you suppose it ties in with
herpes?

Herpes virus is just a "foreign object" hijacking the skin/mucosa
cells.
All the rest has nothing to do with the virus. The inflammation,
scars, bumps, blistes and all that, are part of the skin problems.
Acne may be related to at lest some of them.

I still don't understand, Perl.
I can not think of anyway that acne can be considered related to herpes.
