Are Herpes Specific Western Blot test still available?  I heard University
Of Washington was the only lab that could do the testing and the quit doing
them.

Trust me, they are still available.  I just called U of W today and spoke
with someone in the lab to see how to go about getting one done myself.
It costs about $105 and will take about a week for them to get the results
back to your doctor.  It's just a bit of pain because you have to get some
extra paper-work done, and you have to ensure that the lab that draws your
blood has the proper packing material (according to the U of W's
specifications) to send it over to them.

Check out this webpage and scroll down to "where can i get tested?"

A week for results?  Really?  It was three weeks exactly for me.  But that was
awhile ago.

Is there anyway to get this done out of state?

Yes.  Go to the site that SweptUnder posted (quoted below). Click on
the "Herpes Q&A button, then click on "Where can I get tested?"
You can have your blood drawn anywhere you'd like (in state, out of
state, wherever) and the sample will be shipped to the lab at the U of
Wash.

Absolutely, and to add, you will need paper signed by your doctor, but you can
pretty much spearhead the whole thing yourself.  I basically did it all myself.
