Okay thanks ar,
I actually had one removed about 5 years ago with Liquid Nitrogen and it
came back so I just had it removed with laser surgery. I am not fond of this
method, because it took a long time to heal. I still have the semi open,
scar and wound from it, although it doesn't hurt. I think it is still
contagious at least during viral shedding from what I understand. I know its
a virus and it can stay dormant like herpes, good thing it doesn't have
outbreaks, otherwise I'd be in trouble!
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom,
Yes, you can still spread it when there are no warts. However, the rumor these
days is that the longer you go without warts, the more likely it is that the
virus has burned itself out and you no longer have it.
So, get them treated and remember that the HPV virus is so small that a condom
won't do anything for protection.

Thanks ar,
I got them removed about 5 years ago and then they came back about a year
ago and I had it a year, so I had the laser done. I hope this is it. Now I
feel really bad about the fact that I could have spread this also to people
I was sexually active with.

Hi Tom,
Yeah, that's why full disclosure is always best.
Unfortunately, I was so naive when I was diagnosed and the doctor never told me
it was a contagious disease. I had no idea. I had to go BACK to my ex
boyfriend months after we broke up and warn him that I exposed him without
knowing what it was I had.
That sucked.
