(I sent this earlier but it didn't seem to show.  Apologies if it
doubles up.)

Our new "friend" Pete appears to be an angry teen from the UK or
Western Europe.  He's been trolling alt.support.depression.teens since
late July, making loud threats against people who bristle at him, and
recently, impersonating some of the regulars there, and indirectly
showing himself to have more problems than anyone on that group.

I don't know if there is a logical connection in it all, but I suppose
it's possible that he recently did find he has Herpes, is depressed
about it, and is acting out in the only way he knows:  with anger.

Or he could be just a troll.

In any event I'm fairly sure he'll not neglect to help us more fully
get to know the special person he is inside.  ;-)

If anyone receives threatening and/or intimidating emails from "Pete"
or "Lord Pete", it looks as though they are originating from
btinternet.com, and complaints may be sent to the abuse desk there.

Take care,

Mike
