Hi, I had a prescription for Valtrex before I had my baby, (incase of an
OB during delivery)

I only got half of the scrip because of the price, now i want to get the
other half..my question is this.
can I take valtrex ONLY during an OB?
and will it really help lessen the OB?

FYI....I worried my self for 9 months about the birth of my baby, and
ended up with an emergency C-Sec anyhow,,,LOL...

Yep. If that's what you prefer.

>and will it really help lessen the OB?

Yep.
But to be effective, you need to start taking it early, and the
earlier the better. In other words, start as soon as you suspect
prodrome .... which can happen sometimes 3-4 days before an outbreak
becomes obvious.
