I just finished having an outbreak, and the sores went away and now I have a
sore achy feeling in the bottom of my spine. I mean the lowest bone right
near the butt. Is this normal? I don't remember getting this before. I heard
herpes is stored in the spine, but is this normal?

I've heard reports of sore achy feelings before and after outbreaks in
various locations. Usually before an outbreak. So I wouldn't consider
aches *after* outbreaks as ABnormal. Herpes seems to affect everybody
differently.

Yep, Herp virus stores itself in the Sacral ganglia (lower spine) but
I'm not so sure that's the reason for the lower back feeling as aches
also occur in the back of the legs and other places as well.

If it occurs after outbreaks in the future, I would consider it
"normal" for *you*.

Antiviral medication might help.
