I've had this disease going on about 17 years.  Got it in college.  I
have about maybe 3-4 outbreaks a year, so not too bad, only one is on
my chin.  :-(

Anyway, I notice dull muscle aches, and general fatigue right before
and during an outbreak.  Makes it harder to work-out, but I do it
anyway.  Feeling tired during the outbreak makes me think the immune
system is temporarily taxed.  Anyone else feel this?  Could be "just
me" syndrome.

Feeling tired is a very common symptom, Jay.  You are not alone.

Take care,

You know, in addition to feeling tired before I break out, I also have
muscle aches.  But one strange thing I get is toothache/swollen gums.
Though, what I have noticed is that eating a lot of fried/greasy foods and
foods that contains a lot of heat energy will also cause me to breakout...

Yeah, your description, Jay, fits quite a good description
for what happens during an OB. I would add tension in the upper
spine area, just at the base of the neck, with cracking sounds
when twisting the upper back.

I can't explain why the pain in the muscle occurs during that time and
it's a good reason to "google" on it.
