Hi Doc,
All of us have things in our life we are not happy with and would like to
change. Things that make us feel bad or uncomfortable with ourselves. With
herpes, it's not going anywhere until someone comes up with a cure one of
these days. And boy don't we all wish it would hurry up! That's something we
can't change so we have to find ways to live with it. We talk to others and
read more info to learn things that makes us comfortable emotionally and
physically.
The other things in your life you mentioned hopefully can be handled the
same way. Maybe you can talk to someone or find a group to help you with
your feelings.

It's good you are not the kind to hop in and out of bed, because you might
find yourself with something a lot worse than the herp. And for the "claimed
perfect" people....do you really want to be hanging with people that have
such a distorted view of themselves and the world?  I don't know your
circumstances, but maybe you could try some Really different things in your
life. Is there anything that you have wanted to try but not done? A hobby,
going back to school, scuba diving, writing groups, photography? You meet
more people when you get out and do more things.
