Every sexual encounter has an element of risk unless the partners
are truly free of all STI's and totally faithful to one another.
There is no such thing as an undetectable case of HSV1 and HSV2.
Evidence of these will be carried in the blood for the rest of your
life. If you test negative you are negative for these. However,
bear in mind that very few people even in the general population
test negative for both kinds. HSV1 carriers have about a 10% chance
of being positive for HSV2 without it having been sexually
transmitted.
There are lots of other risks which you probably shouldn't be taking
before committing yourself to married bliss.

I've read this, which makes me think I must be immune to these since I
never got them despite my sexual history. If 83% of gay men are
postive, then I have been with at least 40 people who are Herpes
carriers. And I would think that gay men who hire escorts in a major
city are even more likely to have it than that 83%.
I have been tested for them twice and both times they both came up
negative.
