Dang!  ;-)    Hey, ya made me smile BIG, and that's what's really
important.

>Happy birthday anyway  :-)

Thanks, M2.  I had a good time.

I didn't get a dremel from anyone (yes, very sad), but my brother
did give me a GPS, and so now I know where I am at any given time to
within fifteen feet or so (three dimensionally speaking, too, let
there be no doubt).  I never thought I wanted or needed to know such
things before, but the cool thing about it is that when I turn it on
just before jumping in my kayak it tallies everywhere I go and how
long it takes me to get there and back, so it automatically does
everything I used to try to do with waterproof Timex, dead
reckoning, map, dividers, and calculator.  Now, satellites in the
sky follow my every move.  I barely just returned to the home
territories, so I haven't yet got to see how the satellite tracking
compares to my own previous year's guess-timates, but I hope I don't
find I've been paddling slower and less far than I've always
thought.  That would be... horrible.

Anyway, I'm now so old that I can't remember if I told people how
old I was going to be, and can only say...

Wooo Hooooooooooo.  The closer I get to dementia the fewer arguments
I can muster against it!  (?)

Love to one and all,

Mike

I bet my GPS is bigger than your GPS.

Remember boys, it's not the size that's important...

Oh come on...  I had to say it!

I don't believe that for a second! Do you have any idea how many girls have
dumped me and said "There's no way in hell you're putting that monstrous
thing anywhere near me!"
