OK - I know that this is TOO early to ask the question, but this is
what happened.

Met someone I didnt know - one thing led to another and she ended up
performing oral sex on me. I got nervous and asked her to stop.
Anyways, that was all that happened. Strangely, we didnt kiss at all.

Anyways, this happend 3 days ago and ever since I have started
developing a wierd body ache, sort of like when I have the flu. I also
have mild itchiness on my neck, no erruptions or blisters. Nothing on
my groin (yet). I am HUGELY paranoid now, and wont be surprised if all
the achiness and stuff is more hypochondria than anything else. Having
said that, I also know that most of the time, the symptoms of Herpes
are so mild that they might go unnoticed.

Help!

Go get a blood test. Then you'll know for sure.

In my opinion you're probably just having an anxiety attack. But we should
all be checked for STDs regularly anyway, so it would be a good thing for
you to go and have a blood test. Get tested for AIDS while you're at it...
just for the hell of it. If everyone did, we'd be rid of both disease in 1
generation!

Everyone should have an HIV test done.

I have had several AIDS tests in the past - all of them turned out
negative. I had those tests done because I have had blood transfusions
and used to get paraniod. I have never had unprotected sex, and have
had only one partner. So even though I am paranoid about Herpes, I am
not about AIDS.

Yea... too bad Condoms don't protect your from Herpes or Warts... it's also
too bad no-one ever bothers to tell you that in sex ed class.

Can you get rid of warts ?  I heard herpes isn't curable!

I got gonorrohea despite using a condom as it's so contagious.

> Can you get rid of warts ?
Yes... Your body can fight them off naturally... the problem is though, that
there's no blood test for warts. So you may be cured, but you'll never know
for sure. Most doctors today say that if you've been wart free for 3 years
then you are "probably" cured. Some people never fight off the disease
though and have it for their entire life.

> I heard herpes isn't curable!
No it isn't.

> I got gonorrohea despite using a condom as it's so contagious.

That's sucky. A very lame STD. Painful, annoying, embarrassing.... but
curable. Go to the doc, get the meds and you'll laugh about it later. Maybe
even use it in a lecture to your future children about safe sex.

Well, the warts might disappear, but doesn't the virus still lurk?
I'm not an HPV expert, like I am with HSV ;-) but but but...

Yeah, I laughed about gonorrhea once, but my girlfriend at the time
didn't think it was very funny, even though she gave it to me.  Some
people have no sense of humor.

I wonder where she is now...

Well, that's what doctors "Think" right now... but again, since there's no
blood test, there is no way for them to be sure.

Hold on...before you do the blood test you need to wait at least 12 - 16
weeks from exposure for an accurate reading of antibodies.  In the meantime,
just relax.  You could just have the flu.  :)

Probably just a panic attack - I feel fine now, no itching, or
achiness or whatever. I assume that if I did contract herpes then
those symptoms would last more than a day, which they didnt.

hmmm

But make sure you DO get a test eventually. Just to be sure... if you think
you're having a panic attack now, wait till you start dating the girl of
your dreams and she starts itching her crotch, and you suddenly remember you
shoulda got that test. ;-)
