Hey,
I was wondering how likely, or unlikely....it would be to get HSV1 from a
person who has had cold sores in the past....but no visible sores for years.
No current lesion during this kissing "session'
Does it help/hurt if we were drinking wine between the kissing segments??
Thanks!

It's probably less likely than the chance that you already have HSV1
orally and just don't know it because you've never had an outbreak.
If you're over 30 you probably already have it. If you're under 30
it's just a matter of time.
Seriously. The oral version is that common and that benign.

I think it probably helped.
Is it Friday night already? It feels like Friday night.

Hope it helped.

Generally, you were quite safe. (Wine wouldn't have anything to do with it)
Just keep in mind that most of the people you've kissed probably have type
1. You might already have it as well.
Take care,
