Here's a news article about recruiting subjects for a vaccine study.

Woot! Soon, instead of having "the talk" you'll just say "swallow this
pill... nevermind what it is... it's a... um... Vitamin... yea!"

Where did you read about this?

Hi Yosh ....
He posted under my message that pointed to a Chicago Times article.
The article is gone now but if I recall correctly, it was the one
about the trouble they're having finding suitable test subjects for
the vaccine trials. If I recall, the article said they tested
something like 6500 women volunteers who thought they were hsv
negative but only a very few of them turned out to be actually
negative (something over 90% were positive and didn't know it). I
can't remember the exact numbers. That was the main point of the
article and the reason I posted the link. The rest of the article was
just info about the vaccine so far (the one that works ONLY for women
who are hsv negative to begin with) and also said they weren't giving
up on finding test subjects but it might take a little longer than
they'd hoped.
I think Pain was just being facetious with his comment. I dunno.

Yes, my comment was a joke. And a good one to!

The people testing this vaccine were in this forum requesting people for
interviews a few weeks ago. They were paying $85 but you had to show up in
person. At least I'm assuming it was the same people... it was in the same
part of Chicago that they were doing the testing.
