Nope, couldn't have contracted herpes from the doctor's tools.

If she has herpes genitally there are only a few ways she could have gotten it.
She either rubbed her genital region against the genital region of someone else
who had genital herpes, or against the oral region of someone with herpes there,
or, theoretically, if she previously had an oral form of herpes she could have
transferred it to her genital region by say rubbing her finger on her lips and
immediately scratching herself down below.  That last is a real longshot,
though.  It's more likely she got it from someone else.
