Have you seen the L-lysine/Arginine ratio food table?
http://www.herpes.com/Nutrition.shtml
L-lysine and L-arginine are amino acids, and necessary to the good
health of the body. It's thought that HSV makes use of L-arginine
somewhere in the replication process, and that ingesting extra
L-lysine will displace the arginine and thereby deprive the virus of
one of the components it needs to do what it does.
Anyway, you can buy L-lysine supplements in the Vitamin aisle, or you
can steer yourself to food high in Lysine and low in arginine, and the
table above can help you do that. Eat the foods near the top of the
table and avoid those near the bottom. Nuts are one of the known
outbreak triggers.

>couple of hours.
Yes, we hear that from time to time. Where loose clothing that wicks
away the perspiration, etc.

Glad you're feeling better. With any luck it'll be awhile before you
experience the joy again.

You're welcome, and take care,
Mike
Low carb is fine as long as you are eating enough fruit. Lots and lots of
fruit. :) Water is the very best.

You've all been so cool about this! Thanks a lot...
One last one before I close this thing and this one is the one that
concerns me most....
Will my penis go back to its normal look/feel when this outbreak ends?
Will the redness pass? Will the tingle pass?
Or best yet, will it still feel awkward if I have sex again?
Getting red and really pressured?
I'm kinda uncertain of what all is considered an outbreak.
Do I go back to 100% normal after this thing is over?
(That is assuming the outbreak will come back at some time again.)

I'm eagerly awaiting a reply to this myself!
