Anybody know of any naturopathic (or similar) preparations that can suppress
or reduce gential herpes symptoms ?

My doc allows me an  Acylivir purge about once every six months, but don't
fancy the idea of continual use.  The 6 month thing is usually effective for
a few months or more, but not so effectivel if I am a bit 'run-down'.

The only thing that will work against your herpes is a healthy immune
system.  Make sure you are eating properly, getting enough sleep and
exercise.

If you get run down, it really doesn't matter what you do, you will have an
oubreak - if that is how your body works.

You might also want to try to figure out if you have any food triggers.

Lysine works for some.  Not for others.

And that really is about it.  The best defense is a healthy body.

Take care,

Roly,

Just out of curiosity . . . what are your reasons for wanting to be on
suppression when you are on it? Everybody has their own reasons and I'm
simply curious as to what yours would be.
