Hi,

I posted a couple of messages here a few months back asking about
alternative remedies and the availability of Valtrex on the UK National
Health Service. Thanks again to Tim and grant for their advice.

I have been doing a bit of sniffing about the internet today and have found
a UK company that seems to be doing some research into herpes:
http://www.henderson-morley.com/ Has anyone heard of them? They seem to
offer a couple of products, Exanol and Elagen, which are natural plant based
tablets as well as conducting research into an Intracellular Herpes Vaccine.
Has anyone used these natural products with any success?

I really am starting to despair at this bloody virus. Despite living with it
for 12 years I have just had my worst ever out break and what I think was my
first prodrome experience, headaches, back ache, nausea, abdominal pain. I
had previously gone 5 years without an outbreak.

Hi Mo.  I've noticed the Henderson Morley name quite often when doing
searches looking for herpes information.  Seems to be a successful
company, strictly into research.  I read through their ICHV stuff and
it sounds interesting and promising.  Supposedly, because the
component drugs are already used for other things, trials will be
relatively easy.  What that means in number of years before we can buy
their "vaccine" I don't know.

Sorry, but I've not heard of Exanol or Elagen before, never mind used
'em.  Didn't see any info on the website either, but I may have missed
a link somewhere.

Sorry to hear it, and that's a little strange.  I hope it was a one
off.

Take care,

Mike
