Been out of touch lately and haven't read back through the posts here
so maybe everybody knows about this already but .....
Seems the stork arrived on Friday.
I heard elsewhere on the net that there's a brand new Baby Yoshi in
the world.
For those who like stats ....
Born 12/12/03 at 11:56 pm
7lbs and 7ounces
20 inches long.
Cute, healthy, and happy to be here  ;-)
Moma and Baby are both doing fine.

Thanks so much for sharing the news with everybody. I've been unable to keep

Wanda,

The sleep thing has been absolutely crazy!!! The little one is a night owl.
She sleeps three maybe four hours at night (if I'm lucky). Other than that
she usually stirs every couple of hours. My day has been turned upside down.
Instead of getting going around 6 or 7 am I am usually in the middle of a
feeding and then afterwards we both go back to bed!!! One thing is nice
though . . . my MIL has this habit of calling around 9 or 10 a.m. and I have
been lucky not to hear the phone at all while we are sleeping. :) :) :)

I just wanted to tell you that as she gets older, if she is like my Bobby,
she will get her sleep straightened out. But watch out for anyone that sits
with her for you. Don't let them mess up her schedule during the day because
the nights will get messed up too. Yes, I tell you that from experience!
Take Care,
Wanda

Wanda,

I hear ya girlfriend!!! The good thing is nobody will be sitting with her
for the first year for more than a couple of hours at a time. (If I can help
it . . . lol).

Normal.  It's time to teach the baby to go sleep on their own.  And
eating every few hours is necessary for small stomachs.

Go with the flow.  Around three months of age the "forth trimester" is
over and they adapt better to what you need.  Evolution has seniority
over clocks and our mammal offspring are simply being little mammals
until they start smiling back.  That's kind of cue that they are more
than instinct and some loving lessons and some self-comforting can
learned.  Let socialization begin!

You know . . . I will say that this was the easiest labor and delivery that
I could imagine!!! I haven't had time to put all my thoughts down but
eventually I hope to post the story on the real stories page on my web site.
I'm sure you guys will get a kick out of reading it . . . LOL I can honestly
say that I can't wait for the next baby!!! LOL :) Honestly though . . . I
think we will wait a year or two before we try for the next one. I sure hope
we can have a boy. That would be fun!!!
