ok I am just gonna lay it on straight here... I am a guy in my mid
twentys, and ever since my girl friend moved away to school I have been
so sexualy frustrated that I have been masterbating constantly... about
2 months after she left I got a nasty rash on my penis. it spread in
patchs around my penis and turned red and swollen. in places the skin
cracked and one of them even bled a very small amount on one ocassion
(when I was scratching it like an idiot). any way I have no health
insurance and I am going to be seeing her again soon (I hope) so I need
some help figuring out what this is.... first off--  I never cheated on
her or had any sexual relationships with any one else since she left,
and I haven't been drunk enough to have done something I wouldn't
remeber. but, at the same time some of my more questionalable friends
have used my computer... is it possible that, while masterbating, and
touching the mouse that one of my friends was recently touching I
managed to contract a dease from him? from mouse to hand to penis?

and if so what a boring and crapy way to catch a vinrial dease :O...

I also use hand lotion so I was thinking maybe I had developed an alergy
to something in the hand lotion...

any way the condition has fluctuated, geting better and worse, mostly
depending on whether I do any vigorious rubing on it (if you know what I
mean... ahem). I also have tried tinactin, neosporin, and a very painful
but some what effective subtance called new skin-- it stings like all
hell let lose but it seals the wounds and disinfects them as well,
handy, has also increased my pain tolerance level :O...

so can any one give me any advice or ideas as to what this might be and
what I might be able to do about it??

I am pretty sure she never cheated on me when we were together, and she
was a virgin when we met so I don't think I got anything from her
(though when she comes back it sounds like I am going to have to take
her for a blood test.... that slut! man I just found out today and boy
am I pissed....)... and the symptoms didn't apear for 2 months after she
left so I realy don't think it was anything from her..

thanks in advance...

you can reply to me here or at my email address:

I really hope some one has some advice for me...

cheers.

Hi Will,

What do you mean by this comment:

First of all, no one here can diagnose you.  You have to see a doctor in
order to find out what is going on.  There are so many possibilities that it
would be wrong for us to tell you one thing, thus keeping you from seeing a
doctor.

By the way, virgins have herpes too.  It's called "cold sores."

No, you can not get herpes from casual contact.  The virus needs skin to
skin contact to transmit.

The only way out of this is to see a doctor.  There is probably a low cost
clinic around your area somewhere.  Perhaps look into family planning
places, etc.

Take care,

Well, you couldn't pick up herpes that way, but it doesn't sound like
herpes anyway.

You could encounter any number of funguses or bacteria on various
unsanitary environments, but whatever you've got, if anything, sounds
like it will require professional diagnosis (which you really ought to
seek before you meet up with that girl again).

Good luck,

Mike
