I found out I have herpes about 3 weeks ago...I looked all over online
for a group like this and thank God there is one.
I know how I got...my last boyfriend, who cheated on me, several times
I come to find out...Anyway, not to dwell on that....Its with me now for
the rest of my life, and I have to deal with it....
I am ordered this outbreak serum from purehealing.com....I hope it
works...to at least keep me comfortable...Every day is different....but
I am learning to deal with it now.
I also am changing my diet as well....Ever since I found out that
chocolate, can make flareups worse...I have stopped eating it...Also,
eating more fish, yogurt...milk....high protein foods...and veggies....
I just feel like I am tainted for the rest of my life..BUT I read so
many stories about people having 'normal' lives with this disease...so I
feel better everyday...
Anyways, thanks for letting me post...and we all will be ok..:)

Hi Kristen,
Changing your diet will work well. However, dairy products are a no-no for a healthy diet. High protein foods aren't always the answer, either. The key is to eat lots of raw fruits and veggies and then have small amounts of other stuff - if you want to. (Meat, dairy, grains, etc).
Good luck.
