OK rugby World Cup over, assored bits caught up with....
THe two sites replicate but for different purposes. In neurons the virus
is produced and shipped out to carry on replicating elsewhere. In the skin
its a standard lytic cycle to produce ultimately virus release to the
environment - be it another host or another skin cell.
THose are signficant differences, but both replication. Dependant on if
the people are discussing topical or systemic treatments, issues with
latency or active lesions or various other perspective differences they
will potentially focus on one or other area and so discuss that alone.
