This is a general question for anyone who might have any suggestions.

A little background first: I'm starting a new relationship with a woman who
is HSV negative. I have hsv type 2 genitally. We've had "the talk" (prior to
any sexual contact) and it has come to light that she has been very
sensitive to condoms in the past. (They cause irritation, etc. a day or so
after using them. It's not clear whether it's the latex or the
lubricant/spermicide causing the problem.) Not using a condom is not an
option (right now) so..... the question is does anyone know of a condom that
doesn't cause problems for a woman with what appears to be very sensitive
skin?

Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance..........

You can buy non-latex condoms at the drug store.  I believe they are called
Avanti.  However, do some research.  They tend to break more often than
latex condoms.  I found a lot of information about them on the internet when
I was researching non-latex condoms myself.

You might try something other than latex. Maybe polyurethane. Trojan
makes one called Supra;

Other companies make polyurethane as well. You can find the Trojan
Supras in your local store or order them online from several different
outlets:

Yep.  I can recommend the Trojan Supra Microsheer® Polyurethane
condom.  In fact, I'm inclined, based on voluminous feedback, to leave
Latex behind and only use Polyurethane from now on.

Enjoy.

Has she ever been blood tested for herp? Wild speculation on my part
but that "irriitation" could be herp symptoms triggered by friction.
Not saying that's the case, it could be any number of things, but
unless she's had a bloodtest, you can't absolutely rule it out either.

To all...

Thanks again for the info - so far so good..... no bad reactions.... to
either type of condom.
