If both partners are HSV2 what precautions are sensible to take?

For example what are the risks of oral sex?

Beyond testing for other STDs, there's not much in the way of
precautions you'd need to worry about. Well.... maybe abstaining from
sex during an outbreak.
Oral sex wouldn't be much of a risk as long as the giving partner has
been infected long enough for his/her immune system to defend against
new virus. Type 2 has a tough time transfering to the oral area. But
again, I'd say abstain during an outbreak.
Generally though, if both partners are positive with the same type,
then Herpes becomes a non-issue.
