I've been getting a lot of tingling on my face (cheeks mostly) and a burning
feeling - there is no rash there at all, but I have also had tingling on the
tip of my nose. I was wondering if you can get shingles without a rash - it
isn't really pain I'm feeling, just lots of tingling and burning/pulsing.

I don't know, is that how shingles is supposed to feel?

Are you allergic to anything? Had anything unusual to eat? Or taking
any new vitamin supplements like Niacin for instance?
As possibilities go, I'd put Shingles way down the list.
