Why do you think that is?

Maybe you are not taking enough time to get to know them?

What state or country do you live in?

The majority of the people that reguard it this way are those that have
herpes with low self esteem.
Hang in there,

Hi Angela,
Thankyou for your note it did help. I live on Vancouver
Island,BC. I have decided to just stay away from dating for now.
Hopefully when I do meet someone, and he doesn't have herpes, he can
see me for me and not what I have. But I'm just going to take time to
get to know that person. Sometimes it's hard being alone but I
realize that this is just the way it is.

I'm glad I was able to help even if it just seemed like a little bit of help
at the time.

It's not a bad idea to take a break from dating. Take care of YOU and figure
out what makes YOU happy. You don't have to be in a relationship in order to
feel defined as an individual, ya know?

Set your sights high and don't settle for anybody just because they are
understanding of your condition. It's about what's inside that counts the
most and the same thing goes for him. Remember, it's not all about YOUR
status only. Be sure and know their status too if and when the time presents
itself.
Not sure if you had a chance to read this one yet:

It's not easy being alone. I know because I was by myself for about 8 years
raising my daughter. It was hard for me to know if anybody would accept me
and I was a single parent on top of having herpes. I know today more than
ever that nothing is impossible.
Hang in there,
Angela ;)

I'm not from your part of the world but there are quite a few herpes
dating sites around now. Have you done a search on google under
herpes dating? There might be something that covers your area?
